Hugely Disappointed
"Spoke to Rob this morning. He has done NOTHING about it! He did not send any parts and did not get the other ones he said he would. He never called! I left so many messages for him and he NEVER returned any of my calls. The other people taking calls were very helpful but he never called back after he said he had the parts.
I now have to source all the parts again from someone else... the vehicle should be on the road on Saturday and it is now my head that will roll! I am back to square one having put all my eggs in one basket with Rob.
Hugely disappointed and let down!"

Work Was Amateurish And Rushed
"I picked the Landrover up last Wednesday having had an uneducated look at the work that had been done. Rob and I agreed £350 and I paid him by cheque.
When I got it back to Upavon I noticed a few things that I hadn't at the garage and also it struggled to start. I have cancelled the cheque and written to Rob to let him know why. I am having a full inspection done by an independent garage this week and I will then decide what I will send Rob as payment.
Largely the work was amateurish and rushed, which was not expected as he had taken 14 weeks to deliver.
My father has worked for Landrover for 42 years and is taking up the issue with them - they take a dim view of companies using Landrover in their title if they are not good ambassadors"

Office Of Fair Trading
"I have heard a dozen stories about FBB since sending my vehicle there - I would support anyone in helping to have them punished for their way of business. Let me know if you want to put a case to the Office of Fair Trading"

Taking Legal Advice
"I received a letter from Rob today, claiming all sorts of rubbish. He is preparing to sue me for the £350. I am taking legal advice and will probably win quite quickly.
Could you write your own complaint in full and send me a copy to use in my case against them.
Also, do you know of anyone else who has a complaint against FBB? I will use them in my case, but also to write to all of the Landrover magazines and Landrover UK itself"

Safety Check
"Rob/FBB serviced my Land Rover, but when I took it to another garage (less than 100 miles later) for a pre long journey safety check up, I was told/warned that I was driving a death trap (or words to that effect).
Rob knows that I carry young children in my car but he didn't even bother to check/fill up my break fluid (amongst numerous other things) ...If it wasn't for the other garage spotting the faults, myself and my family would without doubt have been killed last week due to brake (disk and fluid) and steering (balance/tyre pressure) failure!!! Words fail me!"

Good Riddance
"I knew Rob on a personal level for around 12 months. During that time he fleeced me for every penny he could get out of me.
He hasn't got any heating at home -he told me his gas boiler broke down years and years ago, but my instincts now tell me that his gas has been cut-off due to non payment of bills. His house stinks like a sewer because he's got two cats locked up in his flat that have NEVER BEEN OUT OR SEEN THE LIGHT OF DAY for over 10 years -when I say 'they haven't seen the light of day', I mean his curtains are nailed shut to the walls.
I felt very sorry for Rob and his cats, so I gave him an oil filled radiator to keep him and his cats warm in the winter. I also bought a brand new litter tray for his cats because he smelt pretty bad and there was over 10 years worth of cats piss and shit all over his carpets, but he didn't bother to use it.
I tried to help and look after Rob by cooking meals for him and letting him have hot baths and showers at my place and doing his washing and ironing. I also gave Rob a credit card so that he could open an account on Ebay, but I had to cancel the card a couple of months later because he let his mates use the account. I also designed a website for him/FBB to help him make some money with the understanding that I would get 10% commission on all sales (parts and vehicles), but he didn't give me a single penny even though I know for a fact that I sent between £5,000 to £10,000 worth of business his way.
As well as an oil filled radiator, a litter tray, a website, a credit card and money, I also bought Rob a mobile phone, a digital camera, an electric shaver for his head, phone credit, jewelry, shirts, socks, under wear, food, T shirts, take-aways, not to mention all the Christmas/Birthday presents... the list goes on and on! -Rob never bought anything for me. All he ever gave me was a couple of secondhand trinkets from car boot sales. He gave me a landrover once, but that doesn't count because he charged me £3,000 for it -even though it only cost him £2,000! Admittedly, he did a couple of small jobs on it for free, but it's nothing compared to what he's had out of me for free!
Every time I saw Rob towards the end of our relationship he wanted something from me. If it wasn't a bath or food, it was money! He didn't even bother to tell me (or pretend!) that he loved me any more. When I asked him why he didn't say nice things to me any more, he just used to let out a sort of a grunt.
Someone told me that Rob only wanted me for my money early in our relationship but I foolishly chose to ignore the warning.
Rob still hasn't repaid any of the money that he owes me. The last time I saw Rob, he asked me for £4,000. I almost gave it to him, but decided enough is enough. I haven't seen him since that day. I heard he's having a good laugh and spreading dreadful lies about me, so I have written this to let people know what REALLY happened and how he took every penny he could get out of me -a single mum with three children"

I'd just like to say a special thank you to all the guys (including the above) who wrote to me after reading my response to Emma's email (now removed). It's very kind of you to offer to take Rob's place/give me what he couldn't give me/fix my landrover etc etc, but I'm with someone else now. Sorry guys.

Over 290 people visited this website yesterday. Surely there must be someone out there with something nice to say about FBB?
It's been a long time since we've received any complaints from FBB customers. Perhaps Rob has turned over a new leaf? Who knows! If you've got something nice to say about FBB, we'd love to hear about it
